An independent jury will evaluate the applications in three categories; products, procedures and policies. The applications will be assessed against the following criteria: Relevance, Innovation, Impact, Sustainability and Transferability. In each category, the entry with the highest number of points will be declared the winner. There will be a minimum of three nominees in each category. All nominees will be informed and invited to the VPL Biennale on the 7th-8th of May, 2019 in Berlin (see https://vplbiennale.org). Nominees will receive 1 free conference pass. If a conference pass has already been purchased, the cost will be reimbursed. Winners of each of the three categories will receive 1 free conference pass, plus hotel accommodation and travel to the VPL Biennale for 1 person. Costs will be reimbursed for the conference pass, hotel accommodation and travel booking. The winner of each prize category will be announced at the VPL Biennale, at the evening event on the 7th of May.
