Berlin Declaration adopted - 91,9 % said "Yes"!
On 7th and 8th of May, practitioners, experts, stakeholders and policy makers involved in Validation of Prior Learning (VPL) came together in Berlin for their third biannual meeting. The 300 participants coming from 40 countries exchanged good practices, discussed VPL policies and worked together to shape and adopt the Berlin Declaration. It formulates a community benchmark for robust and effective VPL-systems worldwide. The Berlin Declaration addresses policy makers and defines standards in six policy fields from organisational arrangements, financing, instruments and procedures, to support structures, post-validation pathways and legal foundations.
